RIDERS will be vying for glory and a share of $6,000 in prizemoney at the 2008 NSW Senior Long Track Championships at Blayney Showground on Saturday.
The one-day event will see an extremely competitive line-up compete in nine championship classes with numerous support events added to a jam-packed day-long program.
With senior riders to be pushed to the limits of their endurance and agility, the healthy prize pool for the best of the best riders will surely unearth those with the talent to succeed in this year's NSW Senior Long Track Championship.
Held for senior solo motorcycles and sidecars entrants the championships attract a wide mix of interstate challengers.
They will be battling not only for overall race honours but also for State pride as they take on the 800 metre Blayney Showground track, where riders can reach top speeds of up 150 kilometres an hour. The championships will include three rounds of heats, one race repercharge and the final race featuring 12 competitors.
Riders will show their skills and determination in numerous categories held across the one exciting and challenging day of competition.
Championship organiser, Bathurst's Kevin McDonald, said the entire day of racing would be simply amazing.
