Days in the Diocese: Together Under the Southern Cross will run from July 9-14 and is an opportunity for the country to embrace the spirit that World Youth Day embodies and share in a cultural exchange in the context of faith.]]></description>

The defendant Leigh Clarke, 30,  had been convicted on serious driving charges before police obtained a forensic report that led to Clarke pleading guilty at the Bathurst Court House to driving under the influence of drugs about 1pm on Thursday November 8 last year in Orange.]]></description>

Member for Orange Russell Turner revealed a CHC Dauphin helicopter stationed at the Redmond Place headquarters had been transferred to Sydney, leaving the Central West with no vital helicopter service.]]></description>

Mr Evans and NRMA director Graham Blight were in Bathurst this week as part of a fact-finding tour of the Central West to determine the key issues facing motorists in the region. 
They said the closure of so many rail lines represented a real threat to regional development.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[A policewoman is in a stable condition after surgery for axe wounds allegedly inflicted by her father, who is charged with murdering her mother and her two young children.
The condition of the 31-year-old senior constable had yesterday improved and was listed as stable after being brought out of an induced coma, a spokeswoman for Sydney’s Nepean Hospital said.
Surgeons at the hospital operated on the woman on Tuesday.]]></description>
